President

Aldrich Chan, Psy.D. : Neuropsychologist and psychotherapist, author of Reassembling Models of Reality: Theory and Clinical Practice (RMOR) and 7 Principles of Nature: How We Strayed & How We Return. Both books synthesize neuropsychology with philosophy; RMOR with western philosophy and 7 Principles with eastern.

 

He is the founder of the Center for Neuropsychology and Consciousness (CNC) and an Adjunct Professor for the graduate program at Pepperdine University. His lectures cover the fields of neuropsychology, psychotherapy, consciousness, affective neuroscience, interpersonal neurobiology, and cognitive psychology.

Georg Northoff, M.D., Ph.D.: Professor at Ottawa University, and Head of the Mind, Brain, and Neuroethics Research Unit at The Royal’s Institute of Mental Health Research. A leading figure in neurophilosophy, founder of the Spatiotemporal approach, author of several books including Neurophilosophy and the Healthy Mind: Learning from the unwell brain.

 

Peter Tse, Ph.D.:Chair of the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Dartmouth University. Luminary in the argument for libertarian free will. Author of The Neural Basis of Free Will: Criterial Causation and other books.  He directs the NSF EPSCoR Attention Consortium. He was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2014

 

 

 

Kirk Schneider, Ph.D.: leading spokesperson for contemporary existential-humanistic psychology. Founder of the Existential-Integrative Approach. Protege of Rollo May and James & Elizabeth Bugental. He is a fellow of three Divisions of the American Psychological Association and has published over 100 articles and chapters and has authored or edited eight books. 

 

Erik Craig, Ph.D.: Daseinanalyst who studied and collaborated directly with Medard Boss (the foremost Daseinsanalyst and collaborator of Heidegger himself) giving him a rare firsthand lineage in the tradition. He is a well known international speaker and in 2015, he received APA’s Rollo May Heritage Award for his “outstanding, independent contribution” to humanistic psychology. 

 

Adam Hauptfeld, Ph.D.: Professor of Philosophy at Miami Dade College.
